The Role: As a Senior Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in our team, overseeing various aspects of the merchandising process to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Purchase Order Management: Taking charge of the company's purchase order file from inception to delivery, you will liaise with Far East factories and manage the critical path to ensure timely shipments.
  • Customer Relations: Building strong relationships with our national account customers and liaising with representatives to confirm customer orders and ensure targets are achievable.
  • Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory for two entities, you will monitor stock availability, forecast future demand, and trigger stock reorder points to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Supply Chain Oversight: Tracking supply chain steps and communicating any issues to relevant teams, you will ensure timely product delivery and support the creation, approval, and monitoring of purchase orders.

Qualifications and Experience: To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in stock control, merchandising, or inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems for inventory management (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and support informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
