Description

We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a financial services company in Sale on an initial 3-6 month contract, supporting the transition from manual reconciliations in Excel to automated processes in their internal finance system.

You’ll reconcile financial data between Excel spreadsheets, bank statements and Qube, ensuring all records are accurate and complete before automated reconciliation is introduced. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role where your work will directly improve the efficiency of the finance team.

There’s potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate after the project is completed, making this a great opportunity to join a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile data between Excel, bank statements and Qube
  • Identify and correct errors or mismatches
  • Upload and verify data in Qube
  • Support the setup of automated reconciliation processes
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in accounts or reconciliations work
  • Confident using Excel and handling financial data
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Organised and methodical approach
  • Experience with Qube (or similar systems) an advantage

Contract: 3-6 months, full-time with potential to go permanent
Location: Sale
Salary: £27,000 – £31,000
