An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary with 3–5 years’ conveyancing experience to join a busy and supportive property team.

This is a traditional legal secretary role — ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, is confident managing files and can provide dependable support from instruction to completion. We're seeking a seasoned legal support professional who takes pride in the efficiency and accuracy of their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners
  • Open and manage residential and/or commercial conveyancing files
  • Draft standard documents and correspondence
  • Handle property searches, Land Registry applications, SDLT returns and Companies House filings
  • Monitor key dates and ensure accurate records are maintained
  • Liaise professionally with clients, agents, and third parties
  • Use case management systems effectively (LEAP and InfoTrack experience beneficial)
  • Complete AML, compliance, and procedural checks accurately

What We’re Looking For:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ recent experience as a legal secretary in a conveyancing setting
  • Strong working knowledge of property processes and legal terminology
  • Fast and accurate typing with excellent IT skills
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage routine matters independently
  • A confident communicator with a proactive, client-focused approach
